The Cerba Laboratory has computer systems designed to securely and traceably manage the issuance of medical test results and their billing.
These IT tools are used exclusively by authorized staff, contractually bound to confidentiality.
The medical information recorded is intended solely for the use of Cerba Laboratory and may only be disclosed to the following recipients: the referring laboratory and the prescribing physician.
The information required for billing purposes is transmitted only to patients and, in the case of third-party payment procedures, to the relevant social security bodies as well as, where applicable, to their supplementary health insurance provider.
In accordance with Articles 39 and following of Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as amended in 2004, relating to data processing, files and individual liberties, any person has the right to access, and, where applicable, to request the rectification or deletion of information concerning them. Such requests should be addressed to Cerba Laboratory’s Customer Relations Department, either by telephone at +33 (0)1 34 40 20 20, by email at SRC@lab-cerba.com, or by post.
